The screen will physically attach to the user’s smartphone by a 360-degree magnetic hinge. The display is actually a tablet that runs Chrome OS. Both the tablet and your smartphone will communicate with it via their MultiTask+ app which pairs the devices and enables them to communicate over an encrypted WiFi channel. One can even detach the tablet from the phone and it will continue to function as a standalone device while continuing to communicate with your phone over WiFi.
The castAway™ case connects and pairs to your Android or iOS phone. It allows you to open multiple apps at once (multitask), copy/paste, and access files and photos between screens. The second screen is a powerful second tablet containing a 1.5 GHz processor and a 5.8 or 6.3-inch display. It charges via one of 2 USB Type-C ports and has a patent-pending magnetic hinge that allows the tablet to detach from the phone smoothly.
